Heidi is a registered hearing care professional, fully trained in water irrigation, micro-suction, and manual ear wax removal techniques. She currently operates from her main clinic at Tower Hill Dental Practice in Sowerby Bridge and also offers a convenient home visit service.

While a temporary change means she is no longer based at Hebden Bridge Pharmacy, Heidi continues to support her patients in the Hebden Bridge area and remains committed to providing care until a more suitable local clinic is found.

As a registered audiologist and hearing aid dispenser, Heidi brings extensive experience in hearing and ear health. My range of hearing care services

About me

After completing a degree in Audiology in 2015 and developing my skills under the NHS I’ve had a wide and varied career working within high street businesses, private NHS care and now working for myself as a clinical trainer, industrial hearing protection, ear wax removal and hearing care specialist.

My previous roles expanded to me becoming a senior audiologist and team leader, developing home care and local services within Wakefield and North Kirklees. I’ve helped improve access to NHS hearing care, developed better patient-centred care approaches, and improved patient outcomes in conjunction with training the next generation of associate audiologists and audiologists alike.

At Hear Happy, our focus is putting the care back into hearing and ear care as independent audiologists within the comfort of your own home. I have a special interest in dementia care and neurodivergence, as well as improving people’s access to work by offering hearing systems that enable people better access to education and work.

Corporate Responsibility

As a small local business owner I strive to develop great relationships with other local businesses and charities. From protecting employees hearing, developing services charities can offer and offering support and training to everyone from patients to other health care providers and cooperations.

At the heart of Hear Happy, we aim to be patient-centred, inclusive, and informative. We guide people, offer choices, and give professional and clinical advice where appropriate.

What is patient-centred care?

Patient-centred care is very different from the traditional model, where a health professional prescribes the same treatment for most patients with similar diagnoses or conditions,

At its heart, patient-centred care is a patient-provider partnership that offers treatment options. This method acknowledges that patients have different values, preferences, and desired health outcomes due to their unique backgrounds, experiences, and lifestyles.

Patient-centred care involves transforming the relationship between providers and patients. It places you at the heart of your care.
